You get better and faster and more efficient, and then, based on the laws of physical dynamics, the wall is hit, all spirit is lost.
The saving of another 17 minutes on the total trip by risking 12 traffic tickets just isn't worth it. You find yourself at a diner. Conflicted, yes... but reading a paper and eating, instead of doing the drive through (or not)and timing your fueling up to make it in the fastest possible time...
The trip is just under 500 miles any way you cut it.
