I'VE BEEN DOING THIS MUSIC THING...

...for a LONG time:

photo c/o Beth Koblitz

cb & David Koblitz. June 1965...poolside at 28425 Belcourt, Pepper Pike OH. note: Slingerland drums in stoopid rare "Mardi Gras" pearl (with calf heads!), and DK's Anniversary Gretsch. he went on to write amazing, avant-garde orchestral music. i keep pluggin' away at songwriting.

(aside: somewhere in the bowels of the FBI is my floor tom. this drum kit was loaned to Jeff Miller. when he was shot and killed at Kent State University on May 4th, 1970, the Feebees impounded everything in Jeff's house. i finally got most of my kit back the following fall...but that floor tom?...never returned to me.)

NP: "Protect & Serve"/Linn County (note: NO "Four Dead In Ohio". Neil Young et al NEVER donated a cent in royalties or publishing to the families, or to help pay for the completion of that pitiful May 4th Memorial.)

PEEVE DE JOUR: first time i used my Soundcraft Series II rehab-ed console = found some bugs that need to be fixed (sorry, Steve). and ProTools semi-hell (not really too bad tho, considering the learning curve involved & another day of gurlieheadmizzree.).

JOIE DE JOUR: actually was able to so some work on the Big Inch Land Company doc theme song...yahoo!
